2024 Japanese Traditional Performing Arts Cultural Festival – Autumn Tournament

Date: Sunday, November 3, 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Location: Miyako Hybrid Hotel, Torrance

The event features performances from various Japanese traditional arts groups, including:

• Shigin (Poetry Recitation) – “Roekai”
• Nagauta (Long Song) – “Minori Kai”
• Tsugaru Shamisen – “Sasaki Mitsurokai”
• Calligraphy – “Cultural Calligraphy Union of America”
• Rakugo (Traditional Comic Storytelling) – “Iseya Daifuku”
• Nihon Buyo (Japanese Classical Dance) – “Takatsuki Style”

The event also includes a fundraising drive for the Noto Peninsula Earthquake Relief Fund.
