Thank you for the article on one of my favorite subjects: Japanese beer! I hope a future article will focus on Japanese craft beers, because my favorites are among them; Kawaba Twilight Ale is “the nectar of the gods” and my current #1 favorite; Cyonmage Pale Ale is great and has bottles with pull-tabs; Kyoto Brewing’s Green Tea IPA tastes as wonderful as it looks.
Three beers I really wis I could find in Los Angeles (it would be interesting to know whether or not they are imported at all,) are Yebisu, which was my favorite big-name beer while in Japan; Kyoto Brewing’s excellent Kölsch, which I have not been able to find in America despite the availability of their other varieties; also Nagisa Pale Ale, which along with Kyoto Kölsch I was able to sample at the hostel where we stayed in central Kyoto, and which was another memorable brew.
Kampai!
