Masae Saga “Batik Art (Rokestuzome)” Exhibition happening until 10/31

Masae Saga, a Los Angeles-based artist and instructor of batik, and her students are currently holding a “Batik Art (Rokestuzome)” exhibition in Torrance from October 1 to 31.

The technique has a 1,300-year tradition and is seen in Kyoto Yuzen and other dyeing methods.

Ms. Saga has been an artist and instructor for over 50 years.
