The Asian American Expo was held at the Fairplex in Pomona on January 13 and 14. The event is considered one of the largest festivals in the U.S. to celebrate the Lunar New Year and attracts a large number of visitors every year. 142,000 people visited the 42nd edition of the event, making it a very lively event.
JapanUp! worked with a local Los Angeles restaurant to sell Hokkaido scallop products at the event’s food venue.
People who tasted the scallops at the event commented, “Delicious!” and more than 50 boxes of scallops were sold at the sales corner.
