Hello, Stephanie Yanez here! I had the honor of being invited by Sanrio for a special private event in Los Angeles to celebrate the launch of the official Sanrio live stream show hosted by JapanLA on Popshop Live. JapanLA is a long-time brand based in LA that carries Japanese and Japanese-inspired clothing and goods. Collaborating with legendary brand Sanrio made sense on many levels.

Sanrio and JapanLA are partnering up to bring a weekly official Sanrio-themed livestream. The Sanrio show will have a variety of merchandise that will change every week. The “JapanLA Sanrio Super Show” is Sanrio’s debut into the livestream shopping space.

JapanLA is a women runned lifestyle brand by Jamie Rivadeneira. They have merchandise inspired by Japanese and Los Angeles Pop Culture. They also collaborate with many Japanese and Anime companies releasing their own exclusive collaboration merchandise. A lot of their items are also imported from Japan.

The event gave Sanrio fans the first look at the official show where we were able to shop exclusive items on the Popshop Live app and picked up our orders in-store. Also a Sanrio event wouldn’t be official without the appearance of the star herself Hello Kitty! She graced all of us with extremely cute photo ops. The event was a lot of fun and brought big smiles to everyone in attendance. With the event over, all Sanrio fans can watch the “JapanLA Sanrio Super Show” on Popshop Live weekly!
