Sophie, a young girl working in a hat shop, meets Howl, a handsome and enigmatic wizard when he rescues her. The Witch of the Waste Land, jealous of the two, uses a curse to transform Sophie into a 90-year-old woman. In order to break the curse, Sophie takes a trip to Howl’s magnificent moving castle and begins a new life of wonder and adventure. But as the true power of Howl’s wizardry is revealed, Sophie must fight to protect them both from a dangerous magical war that threatens their world.
