Train Manners to Follow in Japan – What’s Actually Right?

Japan is famous for its people’s kindness and the beauty of its cities. But did you know it is created by a high sense of manners among people?

People in Japan often feel peer pressure to follow particular manners in public places, even though some might not agree with it. For example, it is believed that a backpack should be held in front of the body when riding a train to have better control and view of the occupied space. However, several people are against it. The anti-front-carrying group claims that the occupied space is the same as carrying behind, and some people still hit others in front of them. They suggested people to hold the bag in their hand or between their legs.
