“25 Layers of Heaven” Arrives in Torrance!

Grand Opening at Tokyo Central PCH
Great news for tonkatsu lovers! “Kimukatsu,” the legendary pork cutlet specialty shop born in Ebisu, Tokyo, is making its grand debut at the Tokyo Central PCH Torrance food court on Friday, February 6, 2026.

The Secret of the Layers
What makes Kimukatsu unique? It is their signature “Mille-Feuille Katsu.” Instead of a single thick slab of meat, they carefully stack 25 layers of ultra-thin sliced pork.

This technique allows the juices to be trapped between the layers, creating a texture that is crispy on the outside but incredibly fluffy and juicy on the inside. It’s so tender you can cut it with chopsticks!

Flavors & Opening Special
In addition to the classic Plain flavor, look out for exciting variations like Cheese and Garlic. Because it stays tender even when cold, it is also perfect for takeout.

★ Opening Special:
To celebrate the launch, customers who order a Gozen set will receive a FREE Chawanmushi (Steamed Egg Custard)!
