The City of Torrance, which celebrates its 50th anniversary of sister city exchange with Kashiwa
city, will hold “The 48th Japanese Culture Festival” on April 15 (Sat.) and 16 (Sun.) from 11am-
5pm. On the day of the event, there will be a variety of food vendors, performances of taiko,
dance, martial arts, tea ceremony and calligraphy, as well as a children’s art exhibition and fun
craft demonstrations for children held by the art school Saga Art Center. Free admission.
