The documentary film by LA-based Japanese filmmaker

The documentary film “Carving the Divine”, directed by LA-based filmmaker Yujiro Seki and
depicting the world of Buddhist sculptors, has been released on April 1st. Director Seki himself
has visited the work sites of the Buddhist sculptors and filmed them over a period of six years
to create such a documentary film delving into the essence of Japan, which has won numerous
