I was flown out to Glendale, Arizona to perform at the Anime event Ganbatte which was held at the StateFarm Stadium lot. I have performed all over the States at various Anime cons, events, and Japanese festivals but this was my first time in Arizona.

Honda Tadakatsu was born in Mikawa (present-day Nishikurazen-cho, Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture) and served Tokugawa Ieyasu from his childhood, contributing to Ieyasu’s unification of Japan.  He was a military commander who excelled in valor among his vassals, and as one of the Four Heavenly Kings of the Tokugawa, he left his name on many battlefields.

I recently went to the BOOKOFF AnimeLab in Little Tokyo which specializes in all things Anime. I love going to as many BOOKOFF’s as I can because each one has hidden treasures and one of the biggest BOOKOFF’s just opened up in Garden Grove, Orange County.
