Cygames @Anime Expo 2022 SneakPeak Report by JapanUp!

JapanUp! is proud and pleased to introduce Japanese companies that liven up Anime Expo 2022 in Los Angeles! Before we celebrate the event in July, let’s get to know about the vendors and be ready for an amazing time there!

JapanUp! Featured Japanese Brand #4 : Cygames

Cygames, Inc. was founded in May 2011. In September of that year, it launched Rage of Bahamut in Japan, followed by Granblue Fantasy in March 2014, which remains one of Japan’s best loved RPGs and boasts art and sound from industry veterans. In the following years, Cygames has gone on to release hit mobile phone games such as Shadowverse, Princess Connect! Re: Dive, World Flipper, and Umamusume: Pretty Derby.

The success of its titles has allowed Cygames to expand into other media, including but not limited to manga, merchandise and anime. Following the successful releases of Granblue Fantasy: Versus and Shadowverse: Champions Battle, the company is currently developing more console titles including Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Project Awakening and Project GAMM. In keeping with its goal to continue being “The Best in Entertainment”, Cygames strives to provide high-quality content for its domestic and overseas fans.

Guests are welcome to snap photos with beloved character standees at the exhibition area! Don’t miss the opportunity to meet and take pictures with your favorite Granblue Fantasy characters as they will be displayed life-sized at our booth(*Standees will be displayed when the crowd at the booth is more manageable.) Do not miss out on merchandise that will be made available outside of Japan for the first time!
